United Arab Emirates Entry/Exit Stamps Translation

1. Did anyone have to translate the entry and exit stamps from United Arab Emirates. Seems like there is some English scripts on the stams like: Entry, Exit, Date, UAE in English but there are some Arabic on it.


2. My another question is - In the new CIT 0002 form, there is a table that asks for education/work history and it stats if you were unemployed/homemaker, you should mention the reason 'Why you were unemployed' - I think thats bizzare, what could reason be - I did not have to work? and they did not give enough space to write any reasons?

3. What kind of educational reports does CIC expects from taking english classes from Open Door Societies? like voluntarily english classes to improve one's english? i only attended classes for two months and i am not sure to add those or not?

any thoughts on these two questions.

1. UAE entry exit dates are always in English so that's sufficient
2. You answered your own question - just add an extra document numbering that question and give your reasoning for why you were unemployed
3. Don't have experience with that so do not know

My Husband didn't translate UAE visa because the English was the translation of the Arabic, so basically you will translate the same thing that's already there, CIC accepted it as it is, and they invited him to do his Citizen test.

reasons for not working could be laid off, can't find a job, traveled overseas, sick leave, maternity leave.. it could be anything that will describe your situation for not being able to work... for this section you will have to attach another paper to explain your reasons.

about report types, it could be anything that shows you went to school in Canada, ESL report card, college transcripts, high school,
GED .... etc. as long as it is from Canada and you studied in Canada they will accept them.

I didn't translate the stamps because one side of the stamp is in Arabic and the other side is English e.g

If you look at the entry stamp it says both "DAKHOOL in Arabic" and Entry in English.

And my documents were accepted without translation.

It is recommended to have an official passport translation from a certified translator. He knows what is needed.
