Hi everyone. I received an ITA as per cutoff due to having 521 CRS score in the July CEC draw. I listed my spouse as non-accompanying so my score bumped up to 521 (With spouse it was 510 for 2 years exp)

I have yet to submit my application, but now I'm feeling a bit lost as the score seems to be be coming down, and spousal sponsorship takes a long time to process anyways.

I would appreciate some advice as to whether I should apply by having spouse unaccompanied or withdraw and take my chance with spouse accompanied and 510 CRS score. For context: my pgwp expires this mid November (2024)

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thx

I would say, decline the offer and reapply with your spouse. If you do get your PR without your spouse you will have to hold your PR for at least 3 years before you can sponsor your spouse. The score has been going down since they started doing CEC class. It might be worth the risk. But it’s up to you at the end of the day. Wishing all the best to you two!
