Unfinished degree

Hi, I already have a master's degree. I enrolled and paid 1year fee for another master's degree in a different discipline through distance education mode.However I never pursued it due to family commitments. I dint attend even one preparatory class, dint pay exam fee anything. Should I disclose this in my sowp? If yes, will this have an adverse effect on my application.
I would like to do what is legally right but also not to overthink and include unneccesary details. Kindly help me with clarity. @legalfalcon @canuck78 @scylla

All personal history has to be disclosed if you spend anytime doing it. However, if you only paid the feee, but ever studied, there is nothing to disclose.

Also, it will have no impact in your SOWP application either way.

@legalfalcon Do All personal history has to be disclosed for sowp application too , as it is not asked. For example, I partcipated in several extracurricular activies like debates, other competitons in college. One debate in which I represented my college team was organised by a television channel too. No money from any of this. It is just competitions extracurriculars in college. I thought by the time I apply for PR , it will have been more than 10 years and I dont have to list these in personal history. Should I disclose it all in my sowp application too? @canuck78 @scylla @armoured @Naturgrl

Debates and competitions are not a part of personal history. Personal history refers to employment, education, periods of unemployment etc.

Ok thank you. Unrelated question to this title. @legalfalcon In my PAN database my surname is misspelled, . Nothing major. Just a letter.I intend to change it soon. I am not a taxpayer as I have no income. So I dint mind it so far. Do I have to list this in other names and mention as error as it a government document?
