Really why Quebec government always playing with immigration applicants who are interesting to settle down in Quebec...!
This is totally unfair proposal by a country in the Earth. They can not easily say to reimburse the paid money to the applicants. applicants are not willing to take money ..they waited many years not to take money back, they waited to settle down in Quebec with many future plans ,hopes with their families....

So dear all please wake up before sun goes down....

A precedent has already been set by CIC terminating thousands of FSW applications in past years. This has stood up to legal challenges.
I see no reason to believe that Quebec wouldn't be able to do exactly the same, especially if they construct the legislation carefully.

For immigration to contribute significantly to growing Québec’s prosperity and better responding to job market needs, the Ministère would like to benefit more immediately from the new system for managing immigration applications based on the statement of interest. To do this, the bill proposes terminating most of the applications for which a decision has not yet been rendered under the Regular Skilled Worker Program and reimbursing the applicants in question so that from this point on all new applications occur by invitation of the Minister, following submission of a statement of interest.

We Lost many things . Our Hopes, We have Changed current status for Future Plans, Age also grows, language test expires. children education, many more.....So, HOW QUEBEC Government going to reimbursing .....!!!!!!

How does this affect anything as far as human rights is concerned. Obtaining PR status in Canada is not a right but a privilege and although not read the complete proposal does not seem a surprise from Quebec putting even more emphasis for example French language as a major factor. Quebec tends to do their own thing a lot of the time under the pretext of protecting the use of the French language and some more radical elements often bring up the possibility of Quebec seceding from Canada, not that that would even happen.

Agree a disappointment for the 18k applicants but not a human rights violation.

This issue is that a new provincial government came into power and are trying to change the rules. Considering they ran on a platform that promised tougher immigration rules, it is not a surprise they are trying this. Things like this happen when different parties take control. Like when the Conservatives changes the rules to be tougher and then the Liberals relaxed the rules when they took over.

No question it is a raw deal.

Also lots of people are applying to Quebec because it tends to be easier to apply but longer processing. They have no intention of actually remaining in Quebec. Think there are problems with both the applicants and Quebec. With changes I government things change.

No not yet i passed medical on sep 3 since then no activity in account waiting for decision made or ppr.
