Hi narindersahib,
  • My BG is "Not Applicable" since the beginning; it's never changed.
  • Support Service Agent comment: 14/03/2017
  • Agent comment: 15/03/2017
  • Analyst comment: 21/03/2017
  • Officer comment: 23/03/2017
I haven't received any RPRF request though I regularly check my mail. Should I worry now? Again, the office is reviewing my eligibility inspite of the recommendation from the analyst. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance.
yes It's normal, final review and decision is made by officer. i have posted similar notes of another feb fswo applicant whose RPRF is also outstanding post officer review, just check my last post n this forum. further no one can comment how CIC will proceed with FSWO batch. But once officer reviews the eligibility and the security, next step is PPR per batch schedules. Also regarding Security, search in this forum, legalfalcon has added info.

"cic concluded that he didn't have right Indian PCC." As I stated earlier, R10 only looks if the documents are complete, not that they are the right one. To explain, when you see the different upload options for job reference, PCC, etc, you upload a document in that tab, now whether that document is correct or the right one is beyond the purview of R10. That will happen during criminality for PCC, eligibility for job reference letters and education etc.
Sorry those were my words. I took at look at the post again..This is what his cic cancellation letter says..
//
Note: As part of a complete application, applicants, their spouse or common-law partner and their dependent children 18 years of age or older (including non-accompanying dependents) must submit a valid police certificate for all countries or territories (except Canada) in which they have lived for a total of six months or more, since the age of 18.
Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete."//

As you could see it says as a part of 'complete application', which clearly means that they have found his application incomplete. So does the word incomplete clearly not mean that it was cancelled during completeness check?

Can someone please help me understanding this I received my GCMS notes yesterday and as per the notes for the Eligibility it says Passed - Candidate is it referring to R10 Completeness check is done? I have read quiet a few threads on various groups for BOWP and as per most of them it means that R10 Completeness check is done and if that's what it is my BOWP application changed to "On Hold" same day as I received my GCMS notes which is really weird and got me in question if my Eligibility shows Passed then how come they put my BOWP on hold c.

Thanks,
Zainy

When did you submit your BOWP? R10 check is different from Eligibility

Does that mean that checking pcc,pof and work experience happens in the first month?
Yes, The R10, which is the completeness check happens in the first month. R10 is the regulation 10 of the IRPA which states:
Sorry those were my words. I took at look at the post again..This is what his cic cancellation letter says..
//
Note: As part of a complete application, applicants, their spouse or common-law partner and their dependent children 18 years of age or older (including non-accompanying dependents) must submit a valid police certificate for all countries or territories (except Canada) in which they have lived for a total of six months or more, since the age of 18.

As you could see it says as a part of 'complete application', which clearly means that they have found his application incomplete. So does the word incomplete clearly not mean that it was cancelled during completeness check?

I will again repeat what I said, when you upload the PCC, for some applicants it is more than one and they have to be uploaded as a single file. At the R10 the only thing that is seen is whether there is a PCC as asked, not that it is the right one. Further, I cannot comment more on the application without knowing the details or what transpired. You only have quoted a letter from IRCC which is vague for others, except the applicants who knows what happened.

I received my latest GCMS notes today. After a 2 months gap (last note was in mid Feb by an analyst), my application was reviewed by an immigration officer in April and my eligibility was updated from "Recommend Pass" to "Passed". The Group # and Group Name entries on the first page of my notes are no longer empty. However, my security status has not changed from "Not Started" (BG NA)!?

My question is, what is the significance of having been assigned a group name and group # in my notes?

Any analysis unrelated to my question will also be appreciated.

IRCC sends application to CSIS for the security check in batches and then as these batches are cleared, the PPR is also issued in batches. This is why when the PPR is issued you will see that a "batch mail was sent" is seen on the GCMS notes. You file after the eligibility has been added to this batch. Now how many applications are in each batch, are they made as per the FSW, CES etc. is the internal working of IRCC and is not known or published. The is the best I can state, unless some other member here has some intricate information.

Thanks! so you are saying that my application was put in a batch to be sent to CSIS? I never knew this was how they processed the security. BTW, my group name reads "PNP".

So does the R10 check only the presence of the documents only or does it involve validation of the submitted documents as well?also is it possible for R10 check to take more than a month ?

R10 is only a completeness check, not the validation or the authenticity of the submitted documents. As regards the time, the trends have been 30-45 days. The only way to ascertain is your GCMS notes.

hi Legalfalcon,
the last note on my GCMS notes from "Case Analyst" says APPLICATION: EXXXXXXXX REGULATION:pNP:FSW, 2017-01-11. i have verified this application under section 11.2 of the immigration and refugee protection act (IRPA) and make the following determination. RECOMMENDATION: ***appears to meet requirement*** Ready to Finalize.
it went further to state that reference letter, NOC, Experience are all ok and consistent. INTEGRATED SEARCH (FOSS/GCMS) shows that PA and dependent have TRVs valid till 02/04/2017. NO ADVERSE INFORMATION.

i am PNP Outand and my BG has been in progress since April 6th 2017.

my notes also mentioned something about RECALCULATING by due date 13th May 2017.

pls what advice do u have for me. is PPR close?

This note confirms that your Eligibility is passed. Now a IRCC agent will review this note and you will have have a final "PASSED." If your BGC has been in progress, which is usually the case for most PNP applicants, you are one step closer to getting the PPR.

You should get your passport request email within 3-6 weeks, or even earlier.
