One of my friends would like to apply for Canadian PR. He lives at India right now and he has 10+ years of experience in Accounting and Admin.
My question is under which program, category he can apply PR from India.

If he doesnt have any experience in Canada, I would recommend looking at the Federal Skilled Worker program, which will be reopened this summer.

There are also options for family, investors/entrepenuers and so forth. Its hard to say, since we don't know the circumstances. Did you try to run through 'Come to Canada' wizard with them? This should provide you with some sense of direction. In the end, there is always the opportunity of pursuing further education, then gaining experience in Canada and lastly, transitioning into permanent residence.

Thanks for ur feedback
Yes...he doesn't have any canadian experience.
So you recommend to apply under FSW when it's reopened.

Can you suggest if there is any other category currently live under which he can apply?

Based on the +10 years of experience implies age over 30 - therefore, youth exchange is out of the question.
Provincial Nominee PNP - you need a permanent job offer from Canadian employer
Federal Skilled Worker FSW - points based system
Canadian Experience Class CEC - experience in Canada
Federal Skilled Trades FSTP - need experience in trades designated NOCs
Investor/entrepenuer - need to invest a certain amount or create something (regulated)
Family - need to have family sponsorship

The only potential option I see is the Federal Skilled Worker. I'm not sure what the NOC list will look like or if it will change. Additionally, going to school -> experience -> PR application.

This is obviously a rudimentary analysis/assessment, which is only my opinion. There are a lot of variables that come into play. I cannot cover each and every option in detail. My recommendation is for them to research different options described on www.cic.gc.ca and run through the forum for additional info.

I checked the details about FSW in CIC website

Basic eligibility
For your application to be eligible for processing, you must:

1. have a valid offer of arranged employment, OR
2. be an international student enrolled in a PhD program in Canada (or graduated from a Canadian PhD program within the past 12 months) and meet certain criteria.

But the thing is that my friend is not having an arranged employment and not an international student.

Leaves you 3 options...

Investor/entrepreneur
Family
Student -> experience -> PR

Ya, you have a point...I just remembered about the adaptability factor. However, if they can find someone who would be willing to provide a job offer, then they could move forward on FSW. Unfortunately, thats all I got!

The only other thing that comes to mind is IEC, but that has age restrictions.
