Good Day,

looking for advice on the follow situation.

Husband and wife got Married 2014 unwent seperation for 1 year 2016-2017 where they rekindle romance and wife decided and sponsor Husband and declared child May 2017 and PR was granted March 2018. during separation Husband had relationship with another woman who became pregnant January 2018 with twins and decided to move on with her life without informing Husband of pregnancy because he went back to wife and qas being sponsored and she didnt want him to take children to canada. unfortunately she past away during child birth and the sister contacted the Husband to inform him what had happened he accepted the children but didn't advice wife until he move to canada. Side note Marriage is legitimate and they are living happily together in Canada with a new baby of their own along with husband's declare oldest child who was sponsored.

questions:

1- Is this considered misrepresentation and can PR be revoked?
2 - under new pilot project for undeclared family can he sponsor twins since the wife accepts them and advise him to bring to canada for a better life?

1. No. This won't be considered as misrepresentation.
2. Yes, he should be able to sponsor the children under the pilot program.

thank you for fast response.

so the fact that he did not inform to wife or immigration of his illegitimate children is not misrepresentation, I've been reading through the forums and a lot have said this is misrepresentation and immigration will question the legitimacy of marriage and can be grounds for PR to be revoked and ban for 5yrs.

the children were born after application was submitted and before finalized and he still did not report during PR interview

I misread your post. I thought he didn't find out about the children until after he became a PR. However it sounds like he in fact knew about the children before he became a PR. If that's the case, I would recommend he consult with an immigration lawyer.

This happen to my Dad and he wasnt able to sponser my younger brother. His citizenship was not affected but they declared my younger brother inadmissible. I later sponsered him under my mother as her dependent. Seek a lawyer and see what your options are.

If he knew about the children and signed their birth certificate, then went on with his application without adding his dependents, he can never sponsor them. It's too bad that he think he can hide it from immigration and wife and figure out something later.

He is misrepresenting but usually IRCC doesn't act to revoke PR/citizenship in this kind of case.

Hi everyone,
I landed Canada July 2020 but October 2020 I received a message from my ex girlfriend of 2016 that she was pregnant after we broke up and had a child secretly without letting me know in 2017. She has sent me so many pictures he really does looks like me we have been talking since then. I would like to go back to Dubai to see for myself and do a DNA test. After all these and I confirm child is mine can I sponsor him if I decide to marry the mother
Please any input from seniors will help
