Unable to see the ECAS

Hi All,

I had received the Immigration File Number in February from CIO, Sydney.

All the time I have beein using it to see the status.

2 week ago my full docs was submitted to CHC, New Delhi and from yesterday my old File Number is not working.

is this common or do I need to inform CHC ?

When you get the AOR from the visa office they will send you the new file number that you should use (different from the one the CIO assigned your file).

Hi laxmikanth,
in my case i have been able to check eCAS with both file nos and they both pull up the same boring info- "received by VO". for some the old file no doesn't work. so this is not to worry abt.

So that seems to be good news......my files were for sure received and new File Number will be sent to me soon.........

me too sent docs before 1 week to London..

How much time will they take to acknowledge me the reciept ??
and where can i check E cas ????
