Unable to Link Paper Application To CIC account

Hi

I have recently applied for study visa through paper based application. Now I want to link my application to cic's online account. I am following the required steps for linking the application but evertime I get stuck on Family Name and Given name fields. I don't have any family name as per my passport but the CIC website isn't allowing this field to be left blank. I tried to put my full name on Family Name field but no luck. I also tried to put N/A or not applicable but it isn't working. Can somebody help me?

On passport : Given Name : Manpreet Singh
Surname : BLank

So my passport only has my full name not any surname. I tried to put my given name on cic website but they always ask for surname. I also tried to put my full name in surname field but same result. I also tried to put Manpreet in given name and Singh in surname but then it says no application found.
How should i solve this

Hi, I am in the same situation. My full name is written in the Given Name section and there isn't n written anything in the Surname section. I can't link my application online.

I think there is some technical glitch, because i have all my details correct and still not able to link my application number. I tried using application and UCI number still its not linking.

You have to put your given name in last name bar. In that way you can link your application.

I am also facing the same issue on linking the application to CIC account for my daughter. She doesnt hv the last name in her passport and I tried the same options that you mentioned and a little more but nothing works
I also reported a technical issue on this but havent received any response from CIC on that.. Wonder if I will even get one..
Did you find any workable solution for your application yet? Let me know .

I haven't found any way. It seems like people with no last name can't link their application

thats so sad How would we know incase CIC needs needs any information from us? So far I havent received a single mail communication on my daughter's or my application ..

They can contact you on your provided mobile number and email
