Unable to download November version of Generic Application From IMM 0008

Has anybody managed to do this recently please?

I need to download this latest version but I keep getting a message saying I need to update my Adobe Viewer, which I've done. I asked my DH to try and he can't do it either.

yes you can try a different browser it may work BUT still if you are unable todo it try this:-

1) instead of clicking on the link. Right click on the link and choose "Save link as..."
2) choose where to download it on your computer
3) goto the folder where you saved the file and double click to open the file.

I right clicked "save as", and then opened up Adobe, and opened the file through Adobe. Any other method resulted in the same error message.

Thank you for your replies. I'm running a Mac if that's relevant.

I have no option to 'save as'
If I 'save link as' I get the same message when I open the saved file.
I get the same result with chrome and Safari.
If I try Firefox I just get a blank page.

I would try downloading a different pdf viewer and making it your default. Like NitroPDF or something.

I believe IE and NitroPDF are both for Windows. I have a Mac.

Still no luck, even with different PDF viewers.

Can the file be downloaded elsewhere and emailed to me, or will that not work for the validation?

Try using a different computer (local library) and download & save it to a USB drive and take it home. And emailing it to yourself should also be fine. I don't believe it would affect the validation, but I would recommend not starting to fill it out until you have it on your own computer.

By the way, as it's been a while since I used a Mac, what options are displayed when you right-click on the PDF link? [If you only have 1 mouse button, I think there are right-click equivalents as explained here: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/five-ways-to-right-click-on-a-mac-trackpad/]

Would anyone be so kind and try and gain access themselves, please?

I just clicked on the link you have given and it opens in Internet Explorer.
