hi,

I need some help with my wife's PR.
Her application is almost complete, CIC requested her passport to issue the visa, and she sent it a few days ago.
Her medical exam expires at the end of April 2016, however, she's 30-week pregnant, so it's not safe for her to travel in March and April, or even February.

So is it possible to ask for extension for her landing?
If so, anyone knows where should we send the request for extension?

Thanks for any response and suggestions!

PS: she is applying outside of Canada.

Meaning you would be extending your visa for like 6 months.

I would suggest that u drop cic a email- the VO processing your visa. Or write a letter and send it with the passport, but since the passport has been sent, i would send a letter still and quote your UCI, File Number and all that details.

Alternatively, You can do case specific inquiry on cic website. All cic needs to do is extend the medicals and also give d visa a long term expiry.

Which VO is in charge ?

U got bigger issue to deal if before landing baby is born.
Then have to update application. Do medical for all three again. Better travel in first class air to land.
