UK Visit Visa rejected while Canadian PR app in Process!

Hello to all! Need everyone's advice on 2 matters:

1. My FSW PR application is in process. Medical done. I applied for UK visit visa a few weeks ago and unfortunately it got rejected.

Do I need to inform CIC?
How will it affect my PR application?

2. What is the proper procedure to inform CIC if at the time of application you were unemployed but now working a contractual job?

For the UK visa refusal wait for them to ask for updated form that usually include have you been refused Visa before.
But as per your new employment you need to inform them via CSE even if it is a contract job.
