UK to Ontario, Paramedic and Primary School Teacher.

Hi all,

I was hoping that I would be able to gain some help and advice from you.

My partner and I have visited Canada many times over the last few years. We are hoping to permanently move to Ontario in the near future.

I am a Paramedic, with nine years experienced, qualified to degree level in Clinical and Professional Practice. My partner is a Primary School Teacher, working in a State school, with two years experience, qualified at Masters level.

We have trawled many websites but are struggling to work out a plan of action in order to start the process.

Any help and advice would be gratefully received.

I dont know if your education and work experience will be recognized. It may be recognized for immigration purposes but for practical purposes such as finding a job you might have to redo your education and start your work experience from scratch. As you can see most people here are facing the same problem.
