Just got my PPR. When I click the link to find out if I am from a visa exempt country it literally says "
You may need an eTA, depending on how you travel to Canada" which is of no help at all. Does anyone know if being from the UK am exempt or not? Not sure whether to send my passport or just photocopies to the visa office in London. And what about photos? Are the ones in my account good enough or do I have to supply more?

CIC could make this all so much easier and just personalise emails a little bit more from country to country!

It says the only thing to physically submit is the photos, which we already uploaded early on. So I send an empty envelope with two little photos in to London and upload everything else to my cic account? This makes no sense

If you hold a British citizen passport, there is no visa to go into it. They will be expecting a copy, not the original. An eTA is generated automatically for you by being issued the COPR.

Thanks for your help. I'm going to get my 2 photos done to spec, print the email and fill in the bottom bit and send a scan of my passport picture pages.
