uk permanent resident refused visa help

I previously applied for a canadian visiting visa 2008 was refused twice in one month. The reason being that my immigration status in the uk. now i have a uk residency and appllied couple of days ago and was refused again. Am so upset as i have booked my holiday. My only option now is to wait for my british passport to come through and i doubt if it will come through before my holiday, Almost a £1000 down d drain.
should i re-apply , their reason "not satisfied if i would leave canada after my visit, i have a job and married,,, plz help

Hi Canv, what sort of proof? I had my marriage certificate, payslips, bank statements, letter of invitation from my friend in canada, his passport, utility bill.

So the VO is looking for MORE TIES. If you want to try again, write a solid cover letter explaining the refusals before and what has changed to address the shortcomings. Include copy of your UK residency status. Get a letter from your boss stating you've been employed there since xxx, you do yyyyy and are a valued member of staff. You are entitled to zzz weeks of vacation time and you have approval to take leave from xxx till xxx when you will return to work. Is your wife traveling with you or staying home in England? With the number of previous refusals you might consider getting a lawyer's advice to strengthen this application. Good luck.

Thx pippin... I included my marriage certificate, residency status, invitation letter, pay slips.my husband is not travelling with me. Am worried if I reapply and get refused then when my British passport come through they might refuse me entry at port of entry. Being that they have refused me so many times.
