Hey all,
I'm an anxious sort about this process, so thought id ask the question. For my citizenship test online today, it asked for a form of ID with a signature. Now I am in BC and my PR and Drivers Licence both do not have a signature on it. The ask for this conflicts between the pre-guide and the in-test ask, so to be safe I used my UK passport photo-id page. It was kind of hard to see as it is shiny, but now I'm quite concerned that they may push back on this even though they list foreign government-issued photo ID as acceptable for in-person tests too.

Did anyone else have this issue? I followed up with an email with the proof to show the issue, but im not sure what will happen. Also curious on how long typically between the test and the oath ceremony people have been seeing? Thank you so much in advance!

A lot of applicants were required to retake the test (which it is usually via MS Team) because their ID weren’t legible from the picture taken at the exam day. You could’ve used your PR card which is acceptable as per Citizenship Test instructions.
We’re now seeing anything from 3 to 5 months for Oath from the date your Citizenship exam is positively validated on the tracker.

Your signature should be on the front and back of your BC DL, no?

Just bumping on this, I am having the same situation, how did it go on this? I have my PR card, I also have the OHIP card, but it's expired, I plan to use my foreign passport for that (spanish language) but has english translations as well.

You can use your PR card.
