I'm about to go into my third year of my nursing course in the UK.
My plan is to work in the NHS for one year when I qualify to gain experience. My dream is to move to Vancouver or Toronto. I'm currently 23 and will be 24 years old when I qualify. I would be moving by myself and have enough funds in the bank to support myself.
I'm starting to look into the in's and out's of immigration so I can get organised and when the time comes i'll know what the process is.
I have a cousin in Quebec would that help my application?
Does anyone know if there is a simple breakdown of the steps I need to go through to get permanent residency status anywhere? It all seems so complicated!
I'd also like to know what I would need to do for my Nursing degree to be recognised in Canada.
I'd ideally like to be living in Canada by the time i'm 27. Is this feasible?

Hi Laura,

I'm currently in the same point in my training that you were when you posted this, and I'm more or less looking at exactly the same plan!
Did you make the move in the end? Any advice or guidance you have would be gratefully received!

Many Thanks, Jesse
