UK London office-How long does it take to send in your passport and receive your visa?

Hi,I would like to ask how long it takes to send in a passport in London and finally receive a passport with a Canadian visa attached.

It has been suggested to us that is should take 1-2 weeks but I would be cautious considering how nothing the IRCC is doing is following any kind of normal level of service. I saw a reddit post where someone claimed it took 30 days to get their passport back.

Is there a VFS in london or it’s through the Canadian embassy?
