uk hsmp visa was still valid when I landed in canada

Hi guys and girls ,
hope some one can help me , when I landed in canada in October 2011 I still had the uk hsmp valid visa , it was in the form of residence card and visa was not stamped in to the passport, since I landed never went out of canada , I am planning to apply in October 2014, so do I need to get any exit history or stuff like that from ukba , since I have read some where in this forum that if your visa is still valid when you move to canada , that could be a problem when you apply for Canadian citizenship , all membrs are requested to put there experiences plz , cheers

You do not need to panic as they are both different an independent immigration systems. UK HSMP has no relationship with your Canadian residency. Infact HSMP was faced out for the TIER XX system years ago.

Your CBSA records will show that you never left Canada. Along with your proof of living in Canada since you landed, it should be enough.
