Hey there - I thought they only had single entry PR TD at the moment. How did you get a multi-entry TD? So you never ended up renewing your PR card then?

Hi

No didnt re-apply for PR card. As the other people mentioned on this thread (particularly dpenabill), it was probably more appropriate for my situation to apply for a TD. As per the guidelines for the TD, all I did was fill in the TD but then attach a cover letter asking for a long-term multi-entry TD and explain why and your situation. In my case, I am living in the UK with my Canadian wife (so meeting PR criteria still) and regularly go back to Canada to visit family and friends.
