UIC number? How does the doctor send in the medical report?

If you do not get a UIC number until you apply but you need to have your medical completed first, how does the doctor send in the report?

They have an online system where they submit it and it gets matched up. You will also get a copy of the results. Or at least that's what happened for us (this was US person coming to Canada). We have a UCI # now and it says that they have his medical results

As long as your medical result do not have any problem, they (dr. office) send it right away.

I received a receipt that I did medical and sent with my app.

so you might get a receipt or a paper from Dr. office that you can send with app.

Yes, They will provide you a receipt of the medical. In my case I had attached with my file that was submitted to CIC.
The report itself is submitted online by the doctor.

Can anyone confirm with me that it is possible to submit an upfront medical after receiving AOR and how they went about submitted it? Like do I have to submit the proof the doctor gives me even though the doc is submitting the results electronically? It doesn't say on the website. (infact it doesn't even say if you can do this at all)
