My wife has a visit visa to Canada, and we're wondering, does this mean she has a UCI number which then is what needs to be put into the application forms?

Is there anywhere where I also need to put this UCI number?

UCI stands for “unique client identifier.” It is also known as a client identification number (client ID ). It appears on official documents you get from Citizenship and Immigration Canada ( CIC ). It has four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers. now if she already has visa she has UCI and any future communication will include UCI.

Thank you. Where on the visitors visa in her passport is it mentioned? There's an eight digit number there but without a hyphen.

Is that 8 digit number without hyphen the UCI?
