uci number automatically linked?

Hi everyone, on April first, hopefully not a joke, I got my IEC acceptance and with it a UCI number. "unfortunately" we send our sponsorship application just before that, so without the UCI number I just got. Will they be able to link it automatically or can I do something to have this linked?

If your name isnt that common then possibly.

Im not sure of the best step but id suggest sending a letter to CIC explaining you now have a uci.

But they should be able to match everything theough your passport number

I do actually have a pretty unique name (there might be exactly one) and yes the application is with the same passport so maybe they'll sort it out then.
