Uber driver/self-employed -- sponsoring family members for open work permit

Can an Uber driver on an open work permit, who can prove his previous months earning through Uber are more than enough to support his family, sponsor his family for an open work permit?
I have looked at the eligibility requirements here

and it doesn't look like they explicitly out rule self-employment. Any help or comment or (related) experience on this matter would be appreciated.

No, ultimately a full time job (not self-employed) was found.
