Uber and Delivery Jobs as a student

Hello, Fellas...I know Uber operates in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec... I will please like to know if a student on a study permit can work with Uber or any delivery works if He/she posses a car!!!'

Sure - you can do that provided you work no more than 20 hours per week.

If you haven't already, look into car insurance rates. They are very high in Canada and you may find this plan doesn't work out financially.

No you can not unless you have a Canadian driving license and you have been on it for more than a year :).

Having a Study Permit means you are already international means you do not have a Canadian driving license that is older than a year.

If so, yes you can. If not, then you can not drive at Uber.

Those are laws from Uber itself. Legally yes you can work at Uber up to 20 hours/week, but Uber itself want you to have a Canadian driving license older than a year.

how about if someone has uk driving licence from 7 years and got canada exchange licence , will that work out than?

Maybe check conditions with UBER directly and not rely on a forum for a specific situation. But as per earlier post getting reasonable insurance may not make this a viable opportunity.
