I went to UBCO for a few years and yes, it's an excellent university with a good reputation. The campus is really small though as the university only opened in 2005 which isn't for me - I prefer bigger busier cities - but that's just me. It also depends what you are studying as certain programs may be better at UBC in Vancouver. Good luck!
