Thanks. I need the PCC for citizenship process. I do have a couple of questions thoughYou can either use Dubai Police PCC or a PCC issued by MoI
-Yes, infact you don’t need a copy you just the EiD numberThanks. I need the PCC for citizenship process. I do have a couple of questions though
1. Will Dubai police accept an expired Emirates ID card photocopy ?
2. I read somewhere in the thread that those who once possessed Emirates ID card are exempt from fingerprint process. Is that true ?
Thanks for your input. I will apply for PCC online through the Dubai Police website.-Yes, infact you don’t need a copy you just the EiD number
-My EID would have been cancelled at the beginning of last yr when I moved here, this yr when I filled the PR application and submitted the PCC applied online via the DP website and received the PCC by email, it was accepted by the iRCC for the Criminality check... I hope this scenario helps...
I am not sure about the exemption though explicitly though...
You need the EmiratesID number (not the copy)... if you apply online without using the EID# you application will be submitted the processing will not happen... My friend had submited the details through the website but did not provide the EID#, his application ws submitted, money dedcuted through his credit card but it did not process because of the missing EID#. After a few days thankfully somewhere buried in his email history he found out his EID# which he then provided it through the online chat help and his request was processed and he received the PCC after 2 days.Hi,
i moved out of UAE in 2013, and don't a copy emirate ID card, but i have my resident visa copy pasted on my passport. can i apply for PCC online through Dubai police website by uploading resident visa copy? but then what number should i write? is file number mentioned on resident visa and number mentioned on resident card same??

inam
You can do it online through dubai police website if you know ur emirates id number and have a copy of it as wellHi all,
Hope you are well. I am currently doing spousal visa for canada immigration and it needs police clearance from the countries that i have lived. I lived in sharjah, uae and i am not sure how to get clearance from them as i am on canada currently. Help please. Thanks all.
Consult example 1 under police certificate section of instruction guide. It states you need to check yes to question that you stayed more than 183 days in other country in past 4 years but do not need to provide PC if already provided for your PR application but do mention this in 10b that you submitted PC from that country for PRAccording to IRCC, the following rules apply when applying for PCC:
"In the past four (4) years, if you spent 183 days or more in a row (since the age of 18) in a country (other than Canada), you must provide a police certificate from each country. "
My question is, should a person apply for PCC if in the last four (4) years, he has stayed for more than 183 days in a country (other than Canada) before he became a permanent resident ?
That is a really good example. Let say after becoming PR, I spend a total of 60 days in UAE. Plus at the time of applying for PR, I had submitted a UAE PCC. So should I submit PCC again ?Example 1
You lived in France for one year (365 days) before you became a permanent resident 3 years ago. You did not travel to France after you became a permanent resident. You would answer “Yes” to the question and you would need to provide a police certificate from France if you did not provide one with your immigration application. If you provided a police certificate from France with your immigration application, tell us this in the box provided at Question 10b.
This example clarifies your question

Nope only if u spend 183 days post PR you need a PCThat is a really good example. Let say after becoming PR, I spend a total of 60 days in UAE. Plus at the time of applying for PR, I had submitted a UAE PCC. So should I submit PCC again ?
