I am an applicant from Qatar, and have applied for family class in Canadian embassy in UAE. My problem is that they say they send me emails but I only receive few of them, others (and the most important ones, including AORs etc), I am not receiving. I also updated my email address ones I learned from my CAIPS notes that I have been missing emails, and I received a conformation on my new email address that they updated my new email address too... And I have been expecting emails from them now for months, and I haven't been getting them now either... It could very much be possible that they have "sent" me emails again, and I am not getting them? They also called me ones, and I told them that I am not getting emails from them, but they said they sent me emails, and they send it to everyone in the world. But how come I don't get their emails? Obviously, I won't lie that I didn't get their emails when its in my best interest to follow/read what they have to tell me about my application! Besides, its simple technology, you send someone email, it will land in the recipient's inbox. Something is really shady here...
Is anyone experiencing the same issue? Is is possible that they are lying or something. And yes, I check my email inbox and spams regularly.
