Grade Percent Division or Class Grade Points
A 80-100 Distinction 4.0
A- 60-79 First Division 3.7
B 55-59 Upper, Second Division 3.0
B- 50-54 Lower, Second Division 2.7
C 33-49 Third Division 2.0
F 0-32 Fail 0

this is grading system used in mcgill for India..
Is this followed in all other canadian univ???
In India,in my univ if u get 80% then sure you will get univ rank(1st-10th position)...
There are also less students attaining 75% and above (this is mainly in my department electronics and communication as its compared to be tough branch)..
i have attained 56% will i be able to get atleast good average univ??

this B GRADE requirement is for Canadian students.....check for specific country requirements, you will get to know what is india's min. req

^^according to this chart, you need a either a minimum of 60% (first division) or 3.0 cgpa in order to be eligible for getting admission

Is this grading scale is used by all the univ across canada..if no then plzz tell avg percentage for B standing..

See most of the good university need B or B+ which is merely equal to 70%...

but some do accept low as well.. just check with the university where u want to apply

Buddy.. U jst check with the university where u want to apply..

If you fall under that category.. Then surely u can apply in that uni.. otherwise not..

Say, Some have B or B+ equivalent to 70+ and on the other hand some have B or B+ 60+..

So, check with the particular university of interest..
