My brother is in Canada and will pay for expenses. Company in Canada (owned by relative) is inviting and will provide training.

You will need a Work Permit.... and your employer will have to obtain an approved LMIA.

And, you cannot call 6 months of internship as *training*

Hi Bryanna,

I applied under International Mobility Program and after two weeks I got request from IRCC to pay employer compliance fee. Is it a positive sign that I do not need a LMIA? what are the chances of getting the work permit after my employer pays this fee?

Thank you

A training program for 24 weeks seems rather unusually long.

You'll have to give us more information:
1. Are you employed?

2. Will your employer in your home country pay for your visit (i.e. hotel, airfare, expenses)?

3. Will you be trained by the Canadian parent company of the company you work for outside Canada?

4. Will you be trained by a Canadian company that has sold equipment or services?
Bryanna I have also same question
