if an applicant is Type-1 Diabetic and is willing to immigrate to Canada from India to pursue a master's degree, will his application be rejected or will he face some problems after immigrating to Canada?

In large part depends on their kidney function. If their kidney function decreases or they need dialysis before getting PR that could be an obstacle to getting PR. Low kidney function is one of the top medical reasons for getting refused PR.They should also look into medication coverage as a student. Medications are much more expensive in Canada than in India. It really comes down to the individual, how well controlled their diabetes is, family history of vascular disease, etc. Sorry there isn’t a clear answer.

One should research about the cost of medication as per Canadian equivalency. Also should discuss with doctor about health in future.
