I submitted my application online; really is that fast? I hope it moves on though; haven't received any update since january23.

Dine2317@ Good, atleast you have received medical req within couple of weeks from embassy, I am Nov 2013 applicant. till time not even single email received from embassy. I also submitted my appli Online. I pray you god for you. very soon your visa will be stamped. Good luck...

Thanks my friend, I hope you get a response for your application as well. You haven't received any update since November? But you have had a confirmation receipt from your payment online?

Hi, is your current country of residence in Abu Dhabi? I have also submitted my application online last Dec 2013, and since I am currently in Oman, my application will be processed in Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi. I have received only so far their confirmation that they have my application and nothing else so far.

Dine2317@ yes brother, I have File number with the reciept of payment. I m here in Qatar. In my cic account , Last update by CiC was on 30th Nov. After that no update at all. Hope for the best. I pray for all to get their visas.
I asked One agency they said from Qatar everybody get WP visa within 3-4 month. No later than that. I hope this month I will get good news.

@Singham... Online and thru VAC applications processing time is 4-6 months.... Unfortunately, because of backlogs and number of applications, set your mind for additional 1 or 2 months... but keep on praying!!!!

This is my time line for my owp. I submitted my application through the vac office in Kingston, Jamaica.
November 8, 2013 submit application
Receive Medical request form in December 2013
Medical reached Ottawa January 8, 2014
Application process completed January 27, 2014
My passport is being delivered to me through fedex I should get it by Monday

I am praying that the permit was granted

I got it !! good luck guys

@Maling...we are happy for #babyangel... but i checked her profile and she submitted her application at CEM Hongkong...that makes sense, as CEM Auh is taking longer to process applications...

Here's my timeline:
October 25, 2013 - application submitted vfs
October 25, 2013 - canadian embassy received my aplication
October 28, 2013 - notice for medical exam
Nov. 6, 2013 - done with med exam
Nov. 22, 2013 - NHRS submitted med exam results to the embassy
Feb 11, 2014 - visa received thru 2Go
