TWP Intra company transfer LMO exempt, procedure and GTF

Hey everyone.

We are close to getting an intra company transfer, from Scotland to Ontario, through my wife's work.

She has the necessary specialists skills which make the position LMO exempt (Chief Engineer with 20 years exp in the company's engineering procedures etc, plus MBA qualified)

But we are worried about a couple of things....

Instead of walking up to the immigration officer at the airport and presenting a job offer, passport and LMO etc, does she just say "I don't need an LMO"?

Does anyone have any experience in this?

Next question...

We have already submitted an application for PR, last November. We know that with PR, you need proof of funds. Is this the same with a TWP?

Also, what happens with your goods to follow? On a TWP you apparently are not asked for a GTF list, so what happens when your container arrives? Do you need to pay duty on everything?

Just to clarify..

She intends to arrive at Toronto and apply for the TWP at the airport. We will follow on later.
