Guys. Hello
Two questions please ;
After landing ; how long could some one stay out of Canada and secure his PR would be renewed ?
Some say you need to stay 6 months in and 6 out every year
Others say you need to complete 3 years out of 5 in Canada with no restrictions ..
Please advise ?!
Secondly, If I hve a lrovince nomination ; Am I restricted to lice in it to renew the PR ?

1. You must be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days (2 years) in every 5-year period.that's means you can spend a total of up to 3 years outside of Canada during a 5-year period.

2. Same restricted as other PR categories.

1-You mean if I lnd today , I can spend three years out then two years in and then i will be eligible to renew it ?
2-did not understand the second point. Kindly clarify !

Yes, you can spend 3 years out and 2 years in then you will be eligible to renew PR card. From What I've heard It doesn't matter whether FSW, CEC or PNP or not, all same restriction to renew PR status.

You also need to make sure you take a note of ALL time spent outside of Canada in the 5 years - including vacations. They will ask for this at the time of PR renewal (our friend has just gone thro the renew process and advised us of this)
