Hello dear friends,

I have a small issue and I would like your input on this:

I am in post ITA stage at the moment. Before ITA I had a passport which was almost about to expire, so once I received ITA I went for passport renewal. I now have a fresh passport with 10 year validity but of course the passport number is changed. My question is:

1) In my application I need to upload scanned copy of passport, do I scan and upload both of them?
2) My passport number before ITA and post ITA will be different. Though the new one clearly mentions the old passport number, I hope this is not an issue?

Thanks so much for your answers.

I'm in the same situation! I sent my passport in for renewal a few weeks ago and received my ITA last week. I expect to receive my new passport in the next 1-2 weeks. I'd assume we can just update it and include in the letter of explanation that we renewed our passport at the time of the ITA, but interested in other answers.

I though I was the only one.... My passport expires on August 7 so I decided to get a new one but guess what ? My medicals will be done with my old passport.. I was thinking of applying with the new one and then write an LOE for this.... can we put more than one passport info there ? if we can, I guess we could do this as well...

Just upload both and explain the situation in a LOE.

Nothing to be concerned of.

Thank you !

Interesting to see that many people have this same issue.

So we upload both the passports and explain it with LOE. Cool. Thanks so much

I don't know if I have a photo of the old one. What then?

The new one should have details of the old passport right?
I believe that should do. I am however, not an expert like many others are here. Would be good to hear from someone more experienced.

You mean the passport right ? In our country when you apply for a new one the passport number changes completely thats why I was not sure which one to apply with ... sorry if I got your question wrong
