I just finished my post graduate certificate course of 8 months(1 academic year) at a designated institution and am about to update my EE profile under FSW to get more scores for that.
In combination with my overseas Bachelor's degree(assessed by WES to be equivalent to Canadian Bachelor's degree), my education is supposed to be recognized as Two or More Degree Holder's, which will add about 50 CRS points to my profile.
However, the thing is.. when I entered the certificate program's length information specifying start and end month exactly to be like 8 months, my scores wouldn't change.
If I hypothetically put in 1 year or avoided putting in the end date by clicking the option of 'it's my current study', it would give me the scores that I expected to get.
I knew 100% I'd fall into two or more degree holder's category once I finished my post-graduate course of 8 month or 1 year. But now I doubt if I am really eligible.
All graduates from this course got 1 year PGWP, which implies IRCC recognizes this certificate as one year program despite the program length of 8 months written on the final transcripts.
Should I worry if I am eligible?
What is the best way to put in my certificate information on my EE profile to avoid any ambiguity or misrepresentation while claiming the points?
