Two opinions about out of status in the US. Please help!!!

What if you had doubled that amount for 1 person? Will that help if you had under 67 points?

What are the other options? Here is my scenerio.. My wife who is the main applicant for the Alberta PNP is on H1B and still in status. As for me, I was on tourist visa for 6months and overstayed it.. hence I can only prove that I was legal for only 6 mons.. At what point during the application process will I have to prove that I was legal for atleast for 1 year? Will this affect the application? Are there other options? My wife just applied for preassessment

Only the status of the primary applicant matters. The status of dependants is not important or so I have heard from people who've had experience with these applications.

I have the same info as Leon said, only the principal applicant needs to have one year legal in US

You do have work experience in the US right? Where did you get your education from?
