Hi,

I wanna know can body apply under CEC if he/she has a 1 year job experience but in different fields but both are skilled jobs, My friend who completed his study in Canada in a business program than worked as a Line Cook for 6 months which is a NOC skill level B job and than again worked as a sales associate in a mobile store for 7 months which is also a NOC skill level B job. Both the fields are different. But is it enough to apply under CEC????

Hello, people,

I found this topic that kind of answers my question but wanted to clarify it once more just to be 100% sure.

I have had 4 months of experience as Museum Interpreter (NOC 5212, skilled work B), and will make another 8 months as Records Management Technician (NOC 1253, skilled work B) by this October. Is it okey to combine different NOCs? Will I be eligible to apply for PR through CEC after October?

Thanks in advance.

Yes as long as you have one year of employment(not contract) with minimum of 30hrs/week with a job under NOC 0,A,B ... you are eligible for CEC

Thanks, gimmeThatPR,

Yep, I worked 35 hours/week on my previous job, and I am working 40 hours weekly on my current. Thanks for making it clear for me.
