hi,
Me and my girlfriend have got our COPR now and plan to land and complete the landing procedure as separate individuals soon. After that we plan to go to our home country and get married. Is this okay? Do we have to follow any procedure ?

That is totally fine and you don't have to do anything if you get married after landing. This is because after landing you will become PRs and you are free to do whatever you like without informing IRCC. Good Luck!
Note: I assume you are/were not in a common-law relationship.

Hi,

What if you land in Canada as single applicants and then get married there itself?

Do we still have to inform cic and add each other to the application?

Once you have landed you can do what you want and get married , CIC do not care as far as PR status is concerned once you have landed as PRs. As long as your status has not changed before you land you are fine unless you are common law or married then technically you would not be single.

Okay! Thank you for the reply.

In my case, not common law. And marriage registration will depend on the ease of matters. Want to avoid delays and complications

Sorry to hijack this thread but I have a somewhat similar question.

A friend is going to get married in mid of next year. The friend is in India and has valid Canadian visitor visa, the person she is going to marry already has a PR and has been working in Canada for couple of years now.

What would be the best and fastest approach in this case? Since she already has visitor visa, can they do court marriage in Canada and get her status changed?

They can definitely get married in Canada, then start an inland spousal sponsorship application from inside Canada. Along with this application, the spouse may apply for an open work permit. Good Luck!
