Two and More Degrees ECA evaluation

Hello,

I did bachelors of science (3 years) and masters of science(2 years) from India. I got two different report for my degree evaluation. for my Masters degree, i got 4 years bachelors degree and for my bachelors degree, i got 3 years bachelors degree in my degree evaluation report. So what should i select?

what should i select for my bachelor degree ( 3 YEARS IN ECA REPORT )and what for MASTERS degree( 4 YEARS BACHELOR IN ECA REPORT) when i create the profile?

Okay,
Our agency informed us that no need to get transcripts from Symbiosis as WES will not do evaluation for Symbiosis. Is that so?

Completely misinformed. A lot of people have successfully done their evaluation from WES for Symbiosis. That being said, it depends upon your course and the sort of degree / diploma you were granted.

I have also sent my diploma to WES from Symbiosis Pune (Lavale) for evaluation. Once I hear back (hopefully around Feb) I will let you know.

I got the message from MCC saying :-- Medical credentials successfully source verified.

So it means can I now request the ECR report please ?



Can you please help to understand this ?

Hi guys...
Got my PPR a couple of days ago and I had vowed to help-out everyone here with the same gruelling dilemma that I faced while making my profile for EE regarding the qualification related points , so here I am

I have a masters degree from Delhi, India which was evaluated as "one year of graduate study" by WES while my bachelors degree was evaluated as Bachelors Degree (4years).

I choose "Two and more degrees" option in qualification section as it was listed that, study towards a masters degree will be counted (CIC website)....we had a lot of arguments and discussions here on the forum but I felt convinced and went ahead with it, like I said previously that I have received my PPR and my passports have been submitted for the VISA.

Now, my understanding is that if you have a MASTERS degree which has been evaluated as 'one year or two year of graduate study' you can claim points for two or more degrees but not masters....hope this helps, I'll be glad to help out anyone through this in whichever way I can so plz feel free to contact me.....wishing you all a happy future

I have a Masters degree in Business Administration from Pakistan and a bachelors degree in computer Science from there too. Additionally i am enrolled in Masters of HRM in University of Western Asutralia and have completed two semesters in the course.

My question to you is which of these documents should i get assessed?

P.S My bachelors degree was done through affiliated college, and hence it may be difficult to get those attested. But i will try if its really necessary to get me sufficient points.

Case- ORIGINAL WES REPORT SAID:
summary - bachelors degree
Credential 1 - bachelor three year.
Credential 2 - one year collage level certificate.

wanted to claim points for two or more degree but wanted to be very sure.

Remedy-
Put up a question on WES website asking exactly - "why both my credentials are not mentioned in the summary, I intend to claims point under two or more degrees?"

Result -
In a span of 11 working days, WES revised the report with mention of both in summary.

Happy - additional gain of 19 points in profile.

Can the above case claim "Two or more..", if both the credentials are mentioned in the Summary?!

I guess no. One (or more) post secondary program(s) completed, should be of minimum one year duration, after completion of a program of minimum three years duration.

Hi Guys,

Today we have received Revised ECA Report from WES based on our Query posed on WES website, i thought of sharing my experience here

Let me explain: Below the Old ECA report came on June[First time] and we have asked WES, we are not seeing our master evaluation on summary...

Hence today[29 Jan 2016] we received revised ECA Report..Below i posted both old and Revised Report for you guys infomartion..In both the cases

we are eligible to opt for "Two or More degrees" for Master level of education to claim more points [ but the Revised Report is perfect]

If anyone has same issue or doubt please write to WES and get a revised ECA Report

Here it seems WES had made a mistake in the Old report and wrongly mentioned Masters as One year of graduate study (Canadian Equivalency) instead of the correct Postgraduate diploma(one year) as Canadian equivalency in the 2nd report.

It seems like the only way to get a correct evaluation is to send the qualifications in separately for assessment.

1. First you will fill details of your Bachelors degree & then mark it as WES EQUIVALENT _______?
2. Second you will fill details of your masters degree & then mark it as WES EQUIVALENT __________?

My question is what should be filled at _________ ?
Should both places _______ be filled with "two or more degrees" ?

Vinay: 1. filled as Bachelors degree

2.Filled as "Two or More Degrees" Even if i fill "Two or more degrees for Bachelors, there is no major change in score

but Let me know if you or others have any comments
