guys , do we have to show 1 semester tution fee or 1 year tution fee under spp????

You'll need to pay at least 1 semester fee + need to show the financial support of all the remaining tuition fees.

Its always recommended to pay 1 year tuition fees and show the remaining but if you can't pay full year fees then you can pay 1 sem fees which is required to reserve the seat and show the remaining and apply for visa.

guy really?

"Show" fees?

I thought under SPP you only need to pay 1 sem or 1 year fees.

THere are no other financial docs required for spp(OP note this).

I'm most probably correct, but correct me if I'm wrong.

As a matter of fact I'm in the same boat, so it kinda struck my nerve when I suddenly saw 3 posters talking about other docs, since I haven't prepared them yet...

If you are applying under spp then no need to show itr and sop. Its for general and university category. Feel free to ask queries.
Cheers

GIC is considered as a living expense while studying.
Recently, I have seen various rejection for not showing proper financial support.
There is difference between showing documents to make your file strong and adding unnecessary documents.

You should show some documents proving that you can pay your remaining tuition fees.

To be eligible to study in Canada
1.You must have been accepted by a designated learning institution in Canada.
2.You must prove that you have enough money to pay for your:
tuition fees
living expenses for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada and
return transportation for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada.

my prsnl advice would be .. pay at least one year tuition fee. bcz u never know vo's mood.
he can give any reason for refusal.
moreover, by paying one year tuition fee u will show VO that u r financially good and can afford your stay in canada.
one year fee+ GIC will save you from Financial refusal..
Rest upto you ....

Best of luck .

Dear friends
For GIC , how we can show it? Should open bank account in canada?
