Hey everyone!

Can you kindly let me know what amount to enter in "Room and Board" as I really don't know how much it is and also in "Other".. Also the funds available in my sponsors bank account are exactly the funds I require for my studies in Canada. So should I write the whole amount as funds available?

Room and board is $10K for a full year.

The funds available should be first year tuition + $10K for living expenses + travel expenses.

Thank you for the response. So we have to basically write one year expenses in this section. How about funds available? Is that for one year or whole duration of studies?

Thanks!

CAD 11,000 for Quebec (Per year)
CAD 10,000 for all other provinces (Per year)

Other: CAD 3000

Thank you guys! The question still remains that do we have to write 1 year tuition and living or for the whole 2 years? Plus should I write the funds available for one year or the whole two years. Plus guys if there is some documented guideline about this kindly provide me with the link. Thanks a million, everyone!

1. Tuition fee and living expenses: write it for 2 years (it is not clear because some students have written it for 1 year and got visa while others have written it for 2 years and got visa. Nothing clear is written in this regards on CIC web)

2. Funds available: Write the amount that is currently present in your bank account.

The amount in my sponsors bank statement and the amount required for 2 year tuition and room and other are roughly the same. Does that matter in a bad way? Thank you Inam, May Allah bless you!

No it won't matter, since it is enough for your 2 years of study and living expenses while you have to have a minimum of 1 year expenses and tuition fee. So you are safe.

Quote: "Students are required to demonstrate financial sufficiency for only the first year of studies, regardless of the duration of the course or program of studies in which they are enrolled. In other words, a single student entering a four-year degree program with an annual tuition fee of $15,000 must demonstrate funds of $15,000 to satisfy the requirements, and not the full $60,000 which would be required for four years. Officers should be satisfied though that the probability of funding for future years does exist"

So I should write 22000 CAD in room and 3000 CAD in others + 2 years tuition fee right? And funds available roughly 50K CAD.
