Trying to marry Oman resident/Indian citizenship

I have been getting grey hairs trying to navigate the system. I want to marry my fiance next month. She is a Indian citizenship but a Omani resident (meaning she lives in Oman). I tried calling the Omani embassy in Washington but they seem to not have any idea about what documents I need. I also called the Indian embassy and they also were unsure of what I need. Perhaps I am asking the wrong questions.
This is what I want (simply):
I want to marry my fiance in Oman next month (what documents do I need so that the marriage is valid for both Canadian law and Omani law)?

Did you call indian embassy in oman. i suppose your spouse has to submit request in indian embassy there intention of marriage with your passport number etc. Are u canadian citizen r pr. You may have to give them some time i suppose to advertize in newspapers etc to find if some one has objection. Normally this kind of procedure should be started by people residing in oman.check their website also for further enquiries

After indian embassy recognizes it oman gov recognizes it.oman embassy has nothing to do with marriage of indian national .

I was born in Canada. But I do not know what paperwork is needed. Which website you are referring to?
I hope I can get married soon.
