Hello,

i have applied for trv on september 12, 2024. but i haven't received any updates till now. and i have booked tickets to india for october 13, 2024. so, what should i do now?

Post under visitors. You are not supposed to book a ticket until you get your TRV. Processing times are estimates when most claims not al are accepted. Still need passport stamped too.

What is your status in Canada? How long is your trip? If approved yes but risky.

So if you have a valid permit, and you leave Canada then what happens if TRV is refused. Also passport stamping from India could take up to 30 days. Your decision but you really shouldn’t leave without a TRV. Never should have booked a flight.

Okayy. but if it approves before my flight date than it should be okay to do stamped in india. or else i will postpone my date to january.

You should contact VAC in India to check how many days will they need to stamp your visa there to consider going India or postponing the trip
