Does anyone here applied TRV inside Canada but for emergency situation needs to travel without the release of the TRV but did stamping outside Canada. Is it possible?

yes you can apply for trv from inside Canada and after PPR request you get get it stamped anywhere outside Canada.

not necessary to get any approval from ottawa, just you need to book an appointment with vfs global and then sending it to vfs.

I sent my passport on 16th December 2022. My passport was stamped on 9th, but they didn't yet send it to me. They are still holding onto my passport. I have seen a few reviews that they have people's passports even after stamped for 42 days, one month, and so on.
I am worried about my passport and I am scared that they lost it. I tried contacting them and they said to me they will send it as soon as possible.

Did anyone faced the same issue with the passport stamping from within Canada like that before?

Nope. I sent my passport via CanadaPost(Express Post - 2 Envelopes). Passport was stamped and I got it back, within 2 weeks. If you took a picture of both envelopes, they have tracking numbers, you can track your passport. But if IRCC hasn't sent it out, then I'm afraid tracking numbers won't help.

It may take up to a week. Check your mailbox today and on Monday/Tuesday (Jan 16th/17th) You should get it by then.

Check the tracking number on CanadaPost. If there are no updates, then I dunno.

Are you checking the right tracking number? You sent two envelopes through CanadaPost right? You have to check the tracking number for envelope #2.

Hello everyone, we have just submitted my mother and brother's TRV applications to visit Canada.
Post submission we noticed we mistakenly mentioned in the form that my brother would pay for his trip when my mother is paying for both of them. While the information in the form is wrong, the proof of funds document has the correct information.
Upon realising our mistake we immediately (within 30mins of application submission) submitted a webform with correct information for the application form.

However I am still very nervous as to how this entire thing can impact the application processing and chances of approval.
