Hi everyone,

I really need to go back to my country on July 1st but my study permit extension was only approved on June 4th, so I submitted an online application for TRV with the "In Canada Approval Letter" (the one that they sent me right after they approved my study permit extension application) instead of the study permit that was mailed to my house. Has anyone done the same thing and got their TRV approved?? Please help!!

Hey. Did you have to send a webform and request Ottawa office to have your passport stamped in your home country?

I sent an email to ottawa and VAC back home.

once you have received your physical copy of your stay permit you can apply trv from within Canada and once you have passport request you can fly out from Canada and then submit your passport at your home country vfs along with approval letter.
