Hello lovely people,

Sorry guys this post is not related to express entry but I want to get suggestions for expert of this group on the dilemma I am facing.

I have to extend my study permit for almost 3 months. So I have a question do I need to apply for TRV too to stay in Canada even if I am not planning to visit any other countries at that period of time ? as after 3 months I would be eligible to apply for post graduate work permit (3 years) and I can get TRV for 3 years. So I don't want to waste money in getting TRV for 3 months of time.

You need a TRV only if you are planning to travel out of country.

Thanks. So I don't need to apply for TRV in my case. And also I need to extend my Alberta Health personal health card. So even for that I don't need to have TRV right ?

Nope. Just your study permit is good.
