TRV with Passport Request... changes on date on visit

Passport pick up / Submitted to CVAC: March 10, 2018

Expected Date of Travel: April 1, 2018 to May 6, 2018

Hi,

I hope somebody can help us on our concerns re above TRV application. Here are my questions:

1. how long will it take to return passport with visa stamp?
2. can we change or make some adjustments on the date of travel as indicated on the TRV application? if yes, why, will it affect the chance at the point of entry? or will it be questioned?

1. Depends where you are. If you live in Manila, 2-3 business days. If you had to courier it, add the courier length to that.
2. Yes, you can change your travel dates. No, zero repercussions.

hi bellaluna,

Can you also advise me on what documents I should bring to show the IO at POE?

I also have concerns about the period of stay because at first it was only for about 5 weeks and then now we are planning to make it for 3 months. Will that be okay? I have a sponsor in Canada - a relative (niece) to stay with that will also cover food, accommodation and other expenses.
