Hi All,

I am new here on this forum need your advise.

I applied for Canadian visitor visa month back it got refusal. I hold a valid multiple USA visa for 10 years since NOVEMBER' 2016 but have never visited USA as my wife got pregnant after USA visa was issued. My kid does not hold US visa on his passport.

I had applied for Canada Visitor visa with Family (Spouse and Kid ) with purpose of Visiting and exploring the tourist places in Canada along with the itenary and hotel details as well.

The reason for Refusal was 179(b)
1) Based on the purpose of Visit.
2) Based on your family ties in Canada and in your Country of Residence.
3) Based on your Travel history.

Need your advise whether I should reapply for Visitor again, If yes any specific details I need to mention.

Thank you in Advance.

I suggest you do not apply again and apply for US visa with your family and travel to US along with them. If you are genuine visitor and show ties to your home country USA will definitely give you visa for your wife and kids but if there US visa is also refused then it's a different story.

Before you apply, you need to address the reasons why you were rejected a visa first.

3) Based on your Travel history.
>> The travel history is a way for visa officers to check if the applicant is financially capable and did not overstayed on the country he/she visited.
Better check out other countries before visiting Canada.
1) Based on the purpose of Visit.
>> If you are indeed a tourist, your passport should be a proof of it. You cannot say you want to explore the tourist places in Canada if in fact you've never been out of your home country. This and travel history is related.
2) Based on your family ties in Canada and in your Country of Residence.
>> This only appears if you have more relatives in Canada than your home country. Are you currently living in a country which is not your home country? Another issue, the visa officer might suspect that you plan to illegally migrate in Canada since you are bringing your whole family. I tell you the result would be different if you apply without your wife and child because they will be the reason for you to go back.

You can avail CAN+ as you have a US Visa. I think you have a chance if you apply without your family.

Thank you for your revert. I personally have been to Italy and UAE for travel and business purpose. My spouse holds USA visitor visa my kid does not have USA visa. Well I don't have any relative in Canada my brother in law was in Canada and was a resident there but he shifted to USA 3 years back and has no more ties with Canada.

Should I apply alone in Can
