My profile being 26 year old (Single, Male) from India. I have approx. 5 year of work experience split into 2 companies and currently working in same company
i have prepared the following documents:
1. 6 month original bank statement with closing balance of 11,000 CAD.
2. NOC from HR as well as sanctioning of leaves for the period of visit.
3. Payslips for past 6 month.
4. Past travel history (Nov-19) to EU countries ( France, Spain and Italy)

If needed, i can arrange the following documents as well,
1. Invite from our family friend who is an citizen in Canada.

What are be the chances by TRV will be approved? If not, how can i improve my application?

Assume you are going in 2022. No one can tell you your chances. You should include your screenshots of flights, hotel bookings and vaccinations records. This will show that you are or aren’t spending all your savings on a visit. An invite is a good idea given a visiting for a week visit seems strange in February. Also the invite can include quarantine accommodations, if required. What is NOC from parents? Have you ever applied for UK, US, NZ or Australian visas?

Yes, I’m fully vaccinated with covidshield. I will extend my stay in Canada by a week
My main purpose to visit canada is to meet my long term GF who went there to study.
I’ll be visiting Canada with my friend as well. We both shall be applying for Visa and travel to Canada together.
NOC for parents will be an statement which states my son will be travelling to canada for so and so date. And will come back on xyz date. I think it’ll be redundant.
i did apply for an US visa about 4 years back but it was rejected due to documentation mismatch of LOI from my company and online application. I was travelling on business purpose.
I only have schengen visa to show in past travels.
i can defer my trip to May’22 as situation will be more clear at that point of time. But i want to get my Visa process completed. Should i delay my application?

So how old are you if asking for a note from your parents? If over 22, you are independent and your parents' involvement has no bearing. You must state your refusal of a US visa. If you do not then that is misrepresentation. Having a US refusal will work against you. no point in delaying your application.

Your purpose of visit appears non essential at this point of time. Since you have a refusal history with USA, you need to demonstrate a solid intent to leave and have strong home ties back in your country of residence. VV sometimes looks very straight forward but can be complex. Make sure you explain your current standing well. All the best.

Thank you for your wishes. I’m planning to travel when covid settles down. But in application i shall mention travel window of April. Things should be hopefully fine by then. Currently, I’m working as a Manager, administration department in our family owned business (Healthcare sector, 450+ employees), where my father is one of the directors of the firm. Will mentioning this help strengthening my home ties?

Unfortunately, i got rejection letter, where visa officer objected on the following (179b IRPR) :
1. Family ties in Canada and country of residence
2. Purpose of visit
3. Personal assets and financial status

I uploaded following docs:
1. NOC for travel by HR
2. 6 month Bank statement with closing balance of more than 10,000 CAD.
3. Notarised invitation letter from our friend in Canada (citizen) along with his passport.
4. SOP with detailed day wise itenary, places of visit etc. It also included details of my friend as we are travelling together.
5. Family owned business detail (450+ employees as well as >INR 75 cr of turnover) with NOC from my father who is the director.

I don't think there is any point of reapplying for travel visa because on the basis on which objections are made shall mostly the same more or less In future.
i do have plans to study in Canada for MBA and will apply in universities this fall, hopefully this rejection won't have adverse effect on that aspect.

Should i apply for GCMS notes?
Yes, you should apply for them.
For family ties in Canada -Did you by any chance mention in your application that you are visiting your long time GF who is studying in Canada?
For Personal assets, you should include some property ownership (house, apt, vehicle(s), land, etc)
Purpose of Visit you should outline exactly your day-to-day activities and hotel bookings. You need to show you are going to spend some money in Canada.
From the sound of things, your refusal was based upon the Officer thinking oh just another rich kid being sent by his rich parents to study or establish himself in Canada...

I Applied for GCMS notes.
- No, i mentioned that i'm visiting our family friend in Canada which matched with notarised invitation to Canada from him.
- Unfortunately, i don't have property ownership. It would've really helped me.
- I did out line day to day activity, one of the paragraph attached below from my cover letter. I didn't mentioned hotel booking as i was going to stay at our friend's residence.
  • 1st – 2nd May: Arrival in Toronto, Ontario. Mr xxxxx shall pick us up from the airport and take us to his residence where we’ll take rest and adapt to jet lag
  • 3rd May: Visit to CN Tower, and St. Lawrence market.
  • 4th May: Visit our friends in Scarborough, ON
  • 5th May: Visit Niagara Falls
  • 6th May-7th May: Visit Royal Ontario Museum and Art Gallery of Ontario
  • 7th May-8th May: Drive to Blue Mountains for a short hiking session, if schedule allows we’d like to stay there for the night
  • 9th May: Leave early morning to visit Parliament Hill & Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ottawa.
  • 10th May: Rest at home
  • 11th May: Visit Distillery Historic District; Toronto Chinatown.
  • 12th May: Visit Torrance Barrens Dark-Sky Preserve
  • 13th May: Rest at home
  • 14th May: Return flight to India
- That should really not be the case. Because i applied for an visitor visa, if i wanted to establish or study in Canada, i would've applied through proper documentation / Visa and not hide behind my travel visa, stay as an illegal immigrant and subsequently ruin my life. That was the whole point in mentioning our business in the cover letter as well as NOC from my father on company's letterhead. Even though i'm in flagged group (26 years old, Male-single, Indian, Engineer) i do have a pretty well settled life in India, and that’s what i tried to show and that my travel was solely tourism based. My whole application was based on this.

As I said, if you are well established you would need to show some asset ownership (do you have even a vehicle?). Think about it, your dad is the owner of a business employing 450 people including yourself, yet you have zero assets to show the Visa Officer - you give off the impression that you are not tied down to home country.
Work on your asset portfolio and reapply.
